How long have you been in business?
My wife Nancy and I began Bird Treks in September 1994, twenty-three years ago.
What is your primary product or service?
We conduct professional bird watching tours throughout the United States and Canada.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I took a course in Ornithology in my final semester at the University of Miami, where I majored in Biology. This was in 1972. I have been bird watching, studying birds, and leading birding tours ever since.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Bird Treks provides prompt, professional, and personalized service.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are based in Peach Bottom, in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

What type of payments do you accept?
Deposits and tour fees can be paid by check, money order, wire transfer, and PayPal. A credit card can be used to purchase your airline travel.
Which areas do you service?
We conduct birding tours throughout much of the continental United States and Canada. We work closely with highly skilled associates who conduct additional tours throughout the world.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Bob Schutsky is the sole owner of Bird Treks. My wife Nancy and I operate the day-to-day business. I lead many of the tours, along with other highly-qualified tour leaders. We have the services of a dedicated travel agent to help you with all of your travel needs.
