Canine Partners For Life is a nonprofit organization dedicated to training service and companion dogs to assist individuals with a wide range of physical and cognitive disabilities. CPL places dogs nationwide. Service dogs typically assist with retrieval, support while walking, paying cashiers, helping with dressing/undressing, opening/closing doors, and alerting to seizures, cardiac conditions, and diabetes. Many of our clients have Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Epilepsy, chronic back problems, nerve damage, Arthritis, etc. Many use a wheelchair, walker or cane but many are walking and need to use a dog to assist with balance and support.
